Passionné de photographie et d’exploration urbaine, Philippe Claverin aime à penser que nous sommes de passage « ici » et qu’avec le temps et l’oubli, seules les constructions subsisteront.
Malgré les risques encourus, il photographie les ouvrages bâtis par l’homme, utilisés puis laissés à l’abandon qui témoignent de notre patrimoine et du savoir-faire de nos « anciens ».
Au travers de ses clichés transparaissent toute l’émotion de cet héritage commun et les richesses de notre histoire.
Passionate about photography and urban exploration, Philippe Claverin believes that we are all just passing through and that, with time and oblivion, only the man-made environment will remain.
Despite the risks involved, he photographs decaying architecture and empty buildings. He captures the beauty of ruins, bearing witness to the preservation of our heritage and the know-how of our elders.
